To start, this is not a high end scope, so I'm not going to hold it up against a Nightforce and say that it's a piece of junk. This scope is installed on a 7mm Rem Mag with no muzzle brake. After bore sighing, it was on paper at 25 yards. After adjusting for 3 inches of windage and 4 inches of elevation, the second round was dead center on the bull's eye. I did shoot the "box" with this scope and the tracking is acceptable for what I'm going to use as a hunting scope at ranges up to 500 yards. It never shot a perfect box but it would always return to and retain zero. Clarity does get fuzzy in the higher magnification settings but this is expected from a scope in this price range. Took this scope out to 400 yards on 18"x18" steel and had no problem acquiring target. After 40 hot rounds, it held zero and left me quite impressed. Did not even remember to turn on the illuminated reticle. It was not needed. All in all, this is a great little scope for plinking or hunting with a flat shooter that doesn't require you to fiddle too much with your turrets. More than enough magnification, adequate tracking, nice optics, all for 100 bucks, can't beat that. If you're on the fence, go for it, you won't be disappointed.
Pros: inexpensive, accurate, well built, good tracking
