Disappointed
Hand guard looks high quality and I like the style but the Barrel nut is garbage. The barrel nut split before reaching recommend torque. Contacted manufacturer but no response. Not sure if it was a defective unit or all of them are weak but I guess I will be returning and buying something more expensive.
Barrel nut trash
I bought 2 different 12 inch handguards. I love the feel of the handguard, but the barrel nut split well before the recommended 30foot pounds on both of them im very disappointed

Barrel nut broke during test fit at 30 ft-lb
I liked how light this was, but the barrel nut broke when I test fitted it at 30 ft-lb. It literally sheared in half at the end of the thread. It appears to be made of very think aluminum, I'd say about 1 mm.

If I could give no stars I would. Terrible
As mentioned by kygunner, this rail is trash. Barrel nut peeled apart at 15 ft/lbs of torque. Worse than garbage. Do not EVER get this product. Totally unsafe. If I could, I would give no stars and I wouldn’t recommend this product to an enemy in good conscious. This is gonna get someone killed. Spend the extra $40 and get a rail that is worth a dang. You’ll thank me later.
