This little item does exactly what you would expect. holds a light RIGHT where you need it. Highly secure front mount with a positive lock trigger for a tight fit. About 200 degrees of rotation on the light from top to bottom, so great for night hiking (no more "Gee, never saw that rock!). Excellent fitting options. I am not a small man...and I had to adjust it to be smaller than the factory set up...
Great stable light platform.
Pros: exactly as advsertied, good quality
