I love nice tools
Bought this with a optics plate and a red dot. Immediately used it to torque down the screws and for the first time i didn't feel like i wws about to strip a screw or worry it was going to fall out at the range.
This works exactly like you expect it too. Choose a bit, turn the screws until the veneer guage reads what you want. I couldn't have asked for more.

This very compact and strong tool set it an absolute must. Either going out to the range or out in the field, this small package packs a big punch and can save you a huge headache. I love this thing and would highly recommend this buy.

Why Did I Not Buy This Sooner
I am still kicking myself for not buying this kit sooner. True it is a bit on the spendy side and it is not going to be as accurate as my digital FAT driver, but…
It makes in the field on the fly adjustments, repairs, and detaching and reattaching of rail mounted optics, accessories, and Mlok and Keymod attachments super easy, fast, and reasonably within spec. Add too that it’s relatively light weight, compact in size, and comes with standard seating driver bits in commonly used hex, torx, slot, Phillips sizes, and t bar driver.
Just like my Gerber multi tool, it has become an indispensable item in my range box and field pack. Knuckle down and get one. You will not regret it.

Take my recommendation with a grain of salt: I only have used it for one scope mount thus far. So I don't have a wealth of experience from which to draw. In the one time I have used this torque wrench so far, it was a joy to use.
