battery life
The picture quality is great. However, the battery does not even last two hours. You will need a portable charger if you're doing surveillance work on foot longer than two hours. Changing the batteries will not be an option because the battery cover is held by four screws. I guess FLIR expects you two shine your flashlight in the middle of the night, giving away your position, if you decide to change the batteries instead of carrying a portable charger. I tried changing the batteries at night and it was a pain in the butt. There should be an easy access on replacing the batteries instead of having to use a screw driver to remove the cover. I do not recommend this product.

FLIR HS-307 Patrol 65mm Thermal Camera
This is a must have tool for law enforcement. The quality is outstanding with plenty of features. Extremely portable and weatherproof so it can be used in virtually any environment. Image quality far better than earlier versions.
