Excellant product,Just hate my department don't have the funds to purchase any..I bought this one myself!!
Pros: Great product
Works great for fugitive work
For our use this is a great tool. It adds to our safety. Permits us to determine who is lying about who was in the house by checking heat in beds, couchs and chairs. 30 days in have had to RMA the device back for a charging issue. Not sure if the batteries (NIMH) were bad or the charging system.

FLIR HS-324 Patrol 19mm Thermal Camera, NTSC 7.5 Hz video
This is not a fair review as I did obtain a defective unit. OpticsPlanet has assured me that it will be replaced. With that said: The Flir HS-324 seems to be an incredible unit - The unit I obtained had a defective hot shoe and apparently a power malfunction as batteries would only last an hour. Flir assures me that is not normal. When functioning, the FLIR HS-324 is incredible. Can't wait for the replacement.
