First of all, I want to commend OP for their excellent customer service. Their staff was courteous and very helpful throughout this transaction.
I ordered the camera with LE aftermarket kit. Everything was very well protected in its packing as expected. I was afraid the camera unit would be fragile but upon inspection I was surprised at how robust it felt. It felt like a brick. Installation is about as easy or difficult as you want it to be. I opted to make a dash cutout for the monitor and fiberglass it to give it a stock appearance, however the included hardware would have easily worked. Different strokes for different folks. For my particular vehicle I had to weld a bracket behind my grill to mount the camera. I probably went a little overboard on the install but it's a $3300 night vision camera. Isn't that a little crazy too? Haha I digress. After installation I powered everything up and I was blown away. Words can't describe how awesome this thing is. Any warm blooded creature (alive or recently alive) jumps off the screen. The range is incredible, a quarter mile easily and in some cases several miles. If there's nothing between you and your target you'll see it. I've done a mix of urban suburban and rural driving. It worked well in all of these areas, the rural areas in particular. Unit works as advertised. Large monitor lets you see picture well. Low power consumption. Overall a great package.
