I hunt in a wooded area. This scope lets me see through the underbrush so I can tell what is coming- whether the noise in the brush is squirrel or something worth waiting for. I could plainly identify animals over 100 yards out in thick cover. Battery life is excellent. Clarity is enough to easily discern small animals at a good distance and heat sources well beyond that.

I would have given 5 stars if there was a better explanation of the different settings. The case is basically for the device only- plan to pack your charger elsewhere. The video out is also a bit archaic for this device.
