Jynx66's Review of FLIR Systems Scout III 240 Thermal Night Vision Monocular
image is very fuzzy ,( and yes I adjusted the diopter ) other reviews said I would be amazed at the clarity, I admit looking at my dog from 10 feet away in a dark room looks cool, but outside during the day looking across my yard about 75 ft I could barely make out my neighbors cat, and that was only because i saw it first with my eyes then tried to find it with the FLIR, if it had already been hiding I doubt I would have spotted it. I will admit it works better at night, but your not allowed to hunt in the dark. and I will admit I primarily got this to check the perimeter of my house for critters and thugs, but I didn't realize you can't see through glass, so you have to open the window and the screen to see anything. i'm sure some of you think I'm to picky or expecting to much, but for $2000 I should be able to make out how many kids are parting in my back woods from less than 100 yrds
