I have only used the Flir Scout III on one trip and I feel like I am just getting familiar with the abilities and limitations of the unit. It did work better in cooler temperatures. I was able to discover small mammals that I did not see with my natural eye. I do believe I will be able to better utilize the unit once I become more familiar with it.
