Flir thermosight pro - FLIR Systems Thermosight Pro PTS233 1.5-6x19mm Thermal Imaging Weapon Sight

This sight was apparently very popular since by the time I ordered it, it was on backorder. No big deal as I was home for a few weeks and it came in. The sight came in an excellent, heavy duty case. Instructions were straight forward. I haven't set it up completely, just turned it on to see it work. As I mentioned earlier, it came in when I was home for a few weeks. Right on time for an upcoming small game hunt in Michigan. The squirrels and rabbits were bedded down or scarce. This sight helped to stay away from areas I watched for some time. Made it easy to hunt in areas with more activity that can be seen even through areas thick with trees, even during the day. We weren't hunting deer, but they were very easy to spot with the sight. It definitely helped when identifying those little trails to watch for the upcoming deer season. Battery life was great for the day that I used it. I mainly used it as a spotting scope since I wasn't going to mount it on my 12 gauge. Overall, I'm impressed with this thermal sight!
