Oh it’s worth it - FLIR Systems Thermosight Pro PTS233 1.5-6x19mm Thermal Imaging Weapon Sight

I use FLIR and NV at my job all the time because I’m crazy enough to work nights. So I know it’s capabilities and limitations. But overall this FLIR unit is a game changer to any weapon system you choose to mount it on. Or if you’re trying to prove Bigfoot existence. And for the price for what you’re getting is rather impressive. Considering FLIR technology for many years has been stupid expensive except for the super rich and government. I didn’t care for how long it took to have it shipped. Granted it was around the holidays so any delivery is expected to take longer. But that was a little excessive. And I don’t care for the video recording capabilities. Don’t need it. But it’s there so maybe in the future, maybe. And the batteries aren’t cheap either or common. Kind of a draw back. I would rather this unit have a internal battery that’s rechargeable. But rechargable CR123 batteries do exist. So that’s a plus. And I like that you don’t have to focus when you zoom in or out. Other than that, it was worth saving the coin to give me a combat multiplyer to own the night. You can hide from night vision but not from FLIR. And no, covering yourself in mud like the movie predator doesn’t work.
