A significant Improvement
I love the concept of the Foxtrot Mike uppers. However, the charging handle position can be quirky depending on how you hold your rifle. This lever is definitely a little more out of the way. It's nicely machined and tough. The extra space on the handle also gives you much more grip which helps A LOT, since the dual telescoping springs can be tough to rack completely at certain angles. Overall, this small upgrade actually did improve the overall function of my rifle. However, one gripe that I do have is that there isn't a lot of info on how to remove the original charging handle. Does not work on FM15
It says that this works on the FM15 but it does not. For some reason, it is completely different from the FM15 version which is ONLY SOLD ON the FM website. Unless you're using it for the PCC version of the FM, do not buy this.
Best Used for:
- The pistol caliber carbine version of FM
Would recommend: No
Great upgrade!
My 9mm upper had the standard handle and this has been an excellent upgrade. Easy to install and sooo much easier to handle.
Pros:
- Easy install, more ergonomic
Cons:
- None that I have experienced
