FNX-40 installation with MGWSP1000 - SIGHT PRO SIGHT MOVER

The sights are well made and accurately manufactured to specifications making installation very easy when sanding base of sight to fit. The front sight required no fitting in the way of resizing, and the rear sight required very little fitting for a tight and secure installation using Medium Strength Thread-locker.
Pros:
  • well made
  • Great Fit
  • lumenescent in low light conditions
  • illumination brightness is more than adequate
  • When eye retinas are dilated to low light the brightness is well matched to low light conditions so as to not obscure your area awareness or target.
Cons:
  • Rear sight could use a white dot accent for daytime
  • The ilumination is not obvious in in full light conditions, requiring your eyes to adjust to darker lighting conditions before illumination becomes effective
  • In fully lighted conditions the sights might apear to be not very bright, but this is due to the dialation of your own eyes in full light while holding the sights in a darkened shroud to see them glow
Best Used for:
  • Daytime and Night time shooting
  • Twilight and dark
  • All situations related to hand gun uses.

The Right Night Sights for the FNS40 LS.

I bought these FN original nights for the FNS-USA pistols to get my FNS40 Long Slide POA=POI. I had previously bought a set of Night sights touted to be the best- but they weren’t. They were hitting about 2” low at 20 yds. These are hitting right where I’m pointing. Bright white dot for day or night, tear has a beautiful U slot with serrations and dots that shine in low light conditions. These sights are hard to fit, glad I got the last set Optics Planet had at the time. Highly Recommended!
