This mag carrier is perfect for throwing on if you get called out or have to prep in a hurry. It keeps your mags close to the body and therefore makes them fairly easy to conceal. I have not encountered any retention issues. The downside is that this item is not very comfortable with body armor. Because the magazines are kept so close to the body, you end up with a "pinch zone" between the body armor and magazine base plates. This, of course will depend on your gear any body type, and it may not affect certain buyers at all.

I bought this for the mags used with my SR1911. The mags fit perfect, a good combination of being not to tight but snug enough to not worry about loosing mags. The paddle design will work perfect this summer when wearing shorts and won't have to worry about a belt to clip my mags to. Very comfortable even in tighter fitting jeans.
Pros:
- Light weight and confortable

Easy to slip on; holds mags at the perfect tension; durable material.
A little to large for a mag pouch. mags are not tilted toward the front for quick draw.
Pros: Easy to slip on; holds mags at the perfect tension; durable material.
Cons: A little to large for a mag pouch. mags are not tilted toward the front for quick draw.

The Fobus Double Mag Pouch for single stack .45APC is a trade off between functional and inexpensive. It does function fairly well if used only with a moderately heavy, slightly wider leather belt or an un-reinforced nylon type duty belt. It is not designed with the option of using it in a paddle &/or belt loop configuration. Attempting to use the belt loop style with a reinforced (thicker) nylon duty belt is a no-go without careful modification to the belt loop portion, which would void all product warranty.
Pros: It is simple, holds the magazine fairly wel, it is cheap and is black
Cons: Not convertable to paddle style & the largest belt loop option isn't quite large enough to fit a reinforced duty belt.
