I have rock island double stack 1911 and it fits in the holster just fine but getting it out is such a pain that all i can say is that this holster is complete trash. What i think the issue is that the piece that locks the pistol in via the trigger well wasn't made to proper specifications so it doesn't lock in smoothly (i have to jam it in there or physically press the button to lock it in place) but if I want to pull out my pistol I need both hands (pressing the button doesn't doesnt seem to lift high enough so i catches). It's took me a couple minutes at one point to get my pistol out. Waste of money
