Well built as advertised but the retention mechanism is a bit tight.
Product as advertised shipped quickly.

Doesn't fit Sig p226 X-5, not sure I would use it if it did though. I expected better quality after reading the back ground information. Ergonomics are not acceptable as the weapon protruded almost directly out from the body if used as a component with the shoulder harness. Would be hard to conceal and awkward. Fit and finish of this plastic were not ideal. Felt too "plastic." Magazine holder, offered as a special purchase discount, also was so tight it is useless. Universal mag holder was a better fit.

I feel that the overal simplicity and adjustability are very strong features of the product as well as the option to mix and match with other Fobus accessories. In addition the Fobus holsters hold the gun very securely and alow for a crisp rapid draw. The problem for me was that while reholstering the slide was frequently pushed between 1/4" to 1/2" back and would have to be pushed forward with both thumbs into the holster. I also have trijicon sights on the pistol and the front sight seems to scrape up the inside of the holster when I draw. In addition to this, I live in a colder climate where clothing allows me to carry a full framed pistol, however, the nature of the construction of the holster holds the gun far off the body, compared to many other holsters, so that the gun would print badly in anything but the bagiest fleece or sweatshirt. My reason for not recomending the holster is not because I think the product is of poor quality, but because I feel that there are many other better holster options for both concealed or regular carry in a similar price range.
