Saw an article that stated not all bolt carrier groups will work in your particular rifle and I had a spare one plus I wanted to check for overall wear on original carrier so I ordered Forster 223 go / no go gages from Optics Planet and both carriers failed. After doing more research I found that 5.56 has different no go dimension so I ordered the Forster 5.56 and all checked out. ( now I can check both 223 and 5.56 )( originally thought the 223 was same as 5.56 but found out only the go gage is the same )( thank you Optics Planet for great service w/ my parts orders )
