Great alternative to standard castle nut/endplate - Fortis Manufacturing AR-15 LE Tapered Castle Nut/End Plate K1 System

Very good product. I was looking for something aesthetically different from all the usual QD endplate/castle nut combos Ive used in the past, and the Fortis K1 caught my eye. After receiving it and installing, its clear that its more than just a visual upgrade. The threads are buttery smooth, the finish is bright and durable, and the tapered (no-stake) design works flawlessly. It seems to lock up tighter, with less torque, than any standard castle nut Ive installed, and I'm confident it wont be loosening up on its own anytime soon. As I hoped, it looks like it belongs on the lower, without being too flashy or bulky like some of its competitors models. I was so impressed with the quality of this small part, that I ordered Fortis's Muzzle Brake/Control Shield to finish off the build. Highly recommended!
