Works as designed. I used it on a .350 Legend while whitetail hunting and the sound was definitely mitigated.

It does the job

Bought the control shield to use with my Fortis Manufacturing 9mm Muzzle Brake. I know, don't need it for 9mm but it does work. Fortis did it right, looks bad ^$$ on my 9mm pistol. I'm using a 7.5 inch barrel with 7 inch hand guard. Gives a suppressor look in my no suppressor state.

Great flash can

This device works exactly as intended as far as reducing muzzle blast from the compensator. It will definitely be more friendly for anyone standing slightly behind or next to you shooting. I have used this device on my 9mm AR built while shooting in a steel challenge, and I think people appreciated me using the flash can. Lol

Excellent product. I ordered the Fortis Muzzle Break separate and it looked really nice on my AR9 pistol, but when I installed this device I felt really great. It gives the extra look that it was missing. It is great quality and well designed. It it really easy to mount. Love it.
