I love this component. It is very functional but the lever action tales a little getting used to. Its not bad it’s just different.

The aircraft aluminum and carbon fiber construction looks fantastic. The edge of the carbon fiber cheek piece has soke small edges that could possibly snag and sling or a piece of clothing. It’s a possibility but probably unlikely.

Without a doubt very happy with the purchase.

You always buy anytime if new gun and at least for me I’m never happy with the included rear stock. I have been buying a lot more than this rear stock but when I received it in just a few days , it was well packaged sbd had protection from any scratches it was this Fortis stock bundle package. This stock was so impressive, it’s made out of a solid block of aluminum it’s very strong and durable but when you pick it up you really see you get what you pay for, I got the FDE version and if your someone who likes REAL carbon fiber the top of the stock has a beautiful real big piece of carbon fiber, I had it on my gun in seconds so easy of course I dropped it on my concrete garage floor, didn’t even scratch I think these have some type of protective coating, and really it’s not that expensive for what you get it’s a great deal and you never have to feel like you should of purchased a better quality stock you do not have those thoughts because you just purchased one of the best quality and durable stock snd all kinds of color options there is one for every gun owner so you feel completely satisfied with your purchase. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a quality and it looks super cool which we all know is part of the reason we buy nice things we all want our guns to look good as possible …I admit it, buy one for yourself ASAP. You will be extremely happy like I am, pick a custom color I’m going to buy a few more colors do I can have a different cool look when ever I choos...

Pretty cool design overall. The FDE matched really good actually with my other parts. I ended up returning this item because the carbon fiber is not 100% inlaid. The back bottom corners stick out 1/4in and was a snag concern. I also was not a fan of the all metal butt on the stock would have liked to have seen a rubber pad.

Where to begin? First, the quality. There are very few stocks offered today that have the build quality Fortis's LA stock has. The craftsmanship, design, strength and materials are second to none. The piece is a functional work of art! The aluminum and carbon fiber meld is seamless. The stock is comfortable and the lock up mechanism is as solid as they come. This is the second LA stock I've purchased and continue to use. Don't let the price scare you, it's a deal and you absolutely get what you pay for!

This stock is worth of your money it’s well built and it’s not the heavy compare to my ubr stock from magpul and the finish is real quality. And I sure going to buy it again on my next build.
