Most Helpful Positive Review the other guy is wrong
This is an excellent combo to save some weight. It is aluminum so be careful or youll bubba it up, like the other guy. Great way to save weight and looks fantastic. Fortis is GTG.
Most Helpful Negative Review Dont do it
Castle nut is super light and cheap. The coating flaked off as soon as i put a wrench on it and then stripped as soon as i applied pressure. End plate seems ok, it’ll stick around.

Good looking Castle Nut.

Its a solid castle nut that looks a lot better than the typical castle nut/baseplate. One thing that i appreciated about it is the fact that the base plate is aluminum. That keeps it light but also easy to stake. Yes i would recommend this is you want a step up from mil-spec but don't want the hassle or risk of the mechanized/ratcheting types.
