weighed in almost exactly 8.6oz, finish is very nice, works perfectly with a lightweight buffer and an adjustable gas block. i would defiantly recommend to anyone looking for a low mass bolt carrier group

Lightweight AR BCG

Comes in at a little over 8 oz (11oz is std) so it worked perfect for an undergassed AR platform in conjunction with a H3 buffer. Flawless function even suppressed and the finish is outstanding.

The Fostech AR-15 Lite BCG in Nickel Boron is a standout performer. Paired with my lightweight .300 Blackout build, it cycles fast, smooth, and reliably — like a finely tuned engine. The low mass design noticeably softens recoil, especially when matched with a JP SCS and adjustable gas.

The NiB finish is slick, easy to clean, and shows almost no wear even after heavy use. Lockup is tight, ejection is consistent, and the reduced reciprocating mass makes follow-up shots snappy and flat.

If you’re building for control, speed, or just want a carrier that performs above its class, the Fostech delivers.

FosTech Binary trigger system should work great with a "Fostech" BCG.... well don't even try.... wouldn't cycle my MK18 properly went back to my DD BCG and no issues.... sucks cause I love this BCG and the weight it saved.

What I was looking for!

Was looking the save a little weight and add more functionality, it did that, the finish is shinier than pictured. Added the bcg and an adjustable gas block, (definitely needed with a lightweight bcg) and she’s been purring ever since
