G GEER's Review of Fostech Echo AR-II Drop-In Binary AR-15 Trigger

I purchased this trigger in May 2025, I subsequently spent over $500 purchasing different carrier groups, different springs even the JP Rifles confined Spring,, ordered different spring weights, including cryo- treatment from SPRINGCO… purchased Aunt Arms upgrade for the trigger. That’s where the problem began. The upgrade militia is well worth it if you’re satisfied with a single pull single fire rifle. It’s a great upgrade, but it will do nothing for the rapid fire. Rapid fire does not exist with this trigger. We’re still is FASTEC’s attitude about taking care of their product. They refused to warrant to get because I had done a trigger upgrade, which does nothing but enhance the terrible qualities of this trigger. It actually ran a lot better with the militia armory upgrade, but never achieved a rapid fire like you would see on YouTube. If it’s the YouTube results you’re looking for this is not your trigger!!! do not purchase under any circumstances believe me.! This is the worst piece of junk ever devised. It is seriously over thought and seriously over engineered, it’s obviously had a great deal of time spent on engineering whether it be taking ideas from another well-known trigger manufacturer that I won’t mention here that does not have anything to do with FRT Triggers. I’ve tried at least 45 different combinations of different components, mixing and matching uppers and lowers … the result always the same nothing! I’m going to qualify myself a little bit in closing here so you don’t think I’m just someone who just got into Guns. I’m 65 years old. I’ve been hunting , every weekend and repairing Guns including building mini mini firearms in my lifetime. Suffice to say I know my way around a firearm. This product is way too touchy and far too over engineered., I don’t mean that as a compliment! after Mini trips to the firing range, I met a young man who was new to firearms. He was having some safety issues and I intervened. Turns out he was trying to get used to his new FRT trigger. I won’t mention the manufacturer, but the trigger he was running was $100 less than mine and was just like what you would see on YouTube maybe faster when I first shot it. I had to pause for a second because it was so fast. Trust me there are far better solutions for your Hunt of an FRT trigger, but this one is not one you should pursue.! worse still
is the companies attitude they showed very poor character in my opinion.
When I refer to “the company”, I’m referring to the FASTEC manufacturer not Optics Planet. I want to be clear on that.
