Most Helpful Positive Review My Favorite Trigger
I've Only had a few 100 rounds through this trigger, but have not had any issues what so ever. Best upgrade on any AR by far. Easy to use and the install is straight forward and easy. Only down side is the price, but trust me It's worth it.
Most Helpful Negative Review Casting ... rough and loose
Excited to finally get after all of the politics. However, the casting of the parts is rough and loose. Fit and machining is sloppy - uneven finish, grind or repair marks to correct out of spec parts or flashing. Not sure if it this is the result of a flood of orders or what. Seems to do wha...

Fastec 2 trigger do not buy from anyone

by G GEER, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on November 24, 2025
I purchased this trigger in May 2025, I subsequently spent over $500 purchasing different carrier groups, different springs even the JP Rifles confined Spring,, ordered different spring weights, including cryo- treatment from SPRINGCO… purchased Aunt Arms upgrade for the trigger. That’s where the problem began. The upgrade militia is well worth it if you’re satisfied with a single pull single fire rifle. It’s a great upgrade, but it will do nothing for the rapid fire. Rapid fire does not exist with this trigger. We’re still is FASTEC’s attitude about taking care of their product. They refused to warrant to get because I had done a trigger upgrade, which does nothing but enhance the terrible qualities of this trigger. It actually ran a lot better with the militia armory upgrade, but never achieved a rapid fire like you would see on YouTube. If it’s the YouTube results you’re looking for this is not your trigger!!! do not purchase under any circumstances believe me.! This is the worst piece of junk ever devised. It is seriously over thought and seriously over engineered, it’s obviously had a great deal of time spent on engineering whether it be taking ideas from another well-known trigger manufacturer that I won’t mention here that does not have anything to do with FRT Triggers. I’ve tried at least 45 different combinations of different components, mixing and matching uppers and lowers … the result always the same nothing! I’m going to qualify myself a little bit in closing her...

Not worth the money

by Conz, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on July 15, 2025
I bought the Echo trigger 2 and the Fostech BCG that is supposed to to work with it and it didn’t even fire 6 rounds with the trigger. Then I tried my high dollar BCG made by KAK and it still didn’t work. I was even adjusting the gas tube. It said nothing about it not working suppressed. I guess if the gun store can’t fix it then I am out a lot of money.
Pros:
  • NONE !
Cons:
  • didnt work

finiky, rough, spongy trigger but so far no issues

by Robert Shivers, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on May 16, 2025
The price is one big set back. Other than that it’s a lot easier to install than the original sport.it does look A little bit on the hard side. Also idk if I did something wrong during the installation process I followed all the instructions as well watch about 3-4 different videos on the installation just to make sure. But my trigger is extremely mushy and not crisp as it is advertised. I’ve ran about 300-500 rounds through as of now most of them have been in semi automatic but I have ran about 30 or so in binary on and off no mag dumps yet Simply because the range I have been going to will not tolerate any rapid firing. When I did test it the range officer couldn’t tell I was using it in binary because the second shot is so fast it sounds like one shot. As of today I can’t say I’m not happy with this setup. 6.25in 1-5 Twist 556 barrel, aero enhanced upper, UTG super slim hand guard, H2 KSpec enhanced buffer, SA adjustable bleed off GB, PSA lower, KAK KSpec BCG. And it’s a snappy little bugger definitely a keeper in my collection.
Pros:
  • easy installation
  • Binary
  • drop in for the most part..
Cons:
  • Rough finish
  • mushy
Best Used for:
  • Any application

Echo AR II

by Scott, Verified Owner from OK, United States Written on May 13, 2025
I bought an Echo Sport couple years ago and I was pretty satisfied . I decided to buy the Echo II, I thought it was a little pricey at first but it was very simple to install after watching the video , then I took it to the range . It was soooooo much fun I never gave the price a second thought. I plan on getting one for my 10/22 ,it will be a little cheaper at the range. I can recommend the AR II highly.

Echo 2 Trigger

by Conz, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on March 29, 2025
I put the trigger in just like You Tube video showed. All safety functions and checks were performed before shooting. I had two shots where the trigger worked in Echo mode. Out of 30 rounds I was only actually shot three times. If there is an unknown issue I havent discovered this trigger isnt reliable. I tried 30 more rounds and adjusted a few things on my AR 15 with no success. It is not a drop in trigger like you get from Trigger Tech. A little work is required to get it in. Watch a video on You Tube dont read directions.
Pros:
  • nice trigger pull
Cons:
  • Not reliable

Fostech Echo Trigger

by Joe Q, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on March 13, 2025
Definitely not what I expected. I’ve installed triggers in all of my frequently used firearms without any problems or issues. This trigger I installed in two different AR’s. One high end and one that was not as pricey. Wouldn’t function in either firearm. Doubting myself, I had a gunsmith friend evaluate. He came to the same conclusion, not something he would purchase.
Best Used for:
  • paper weight

Simple to install, then WOW, took me back to my days in IRQ and AFG meaning what a flashback of memories hearing my AR rip it. I highly recommend this trigger to replace that old boring one that came with you AR. You won’t be unsatisfied.
Pros:
  • Eats ammo
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • AR Platform

Echo II binary trigger

by AzKidd, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on January 13, 2025
Product came super fast within a week during Christmas time. Installed on my AR 15 super easy install, probably took me 30 minutes total. I watched a YouTube video after reading the instructions just so I could get familiar with all the parts. It worked flawlessly the first time out and I have ran probably 250 rounds through. I have had no issues, looking to buy another..
