This is obviously meant to go over some vest or plate carrier, so wearing it over a shirt will feel a little sloppy. Just fine with a hoody or jacket though. I'll try to make a sling for the opposite shoulder with some webbing, to make it move less. Other than that, a decent belt with gel padding and 6 packs thrown in for around $30 is tough to beat.
