Good bag, but Two things turned me off.
I wanted a canvas backpack that would be good for casual everyday use, and good enough for a jeans/khaki dress code office atmosphere to throw my iPad, lunch, and personal belongings in.
One frustrating feature are the side straps that cinch the bag to "thin" the bag for light loads, or expand for full loads. Invariably, the main compartment zippers would drop below the side straps anytime I would get something out of the bag. So to close the bag back up, I would have to constantly finagle the zipper pulls back through the side strap, just to get the pack closed. And the zipper pulls can be hard to locate because they are the same color and material as the bag ( they get "lost")
The other thing I disliked was the unwaxed canvas material was a magnet for lint, fuzz, dog hair, dirt, etc. My old waxed canvas backpack got used and abused for years yet never attracted the lint and fuzz like this bag.
Overall, it's a nice bag that seems well built, just not suited for the uses I needed.
