I don’t know if you’ve ever worked a riot, but they tend to be quite loud. If you’ve never used flash bangs, they too are quite loud and you must desensitize before using them on a real operation. The TEDD is basically, in my honest opinion, the equivalent of the rape whistle for distraction devices.
