I have been hunting predators for the better part of 15 years and have used various electronic and mouth calls. My last electronic cal was FoxPro Firestorm which l “fried” when l allowed batteries to leak out, so l needed another call. My only negative remark for the firestorm was that as you needed it to carry the sounds farther, the sound became distorted and screechy. Firestorm certainly addressed that and made a huge sound quality improvement in their Shockwave model. Another great improvement was the new remote control. The sound bank and settings are much more intuitive and easier to access and navigate, and the buttons are illuminated with an ability to brighten or dim them as necessary for daytime vs. nighttime hunting. The increased “reach” for the remote control and directional speakers are also a great improvement compared to the older Firestorm unit. Some things that do strike me as serious concerns “needing improvement” are that the battery compartment door is loose fitting and seems to not provide any protection from elements. I can see snow or moisture enter the unit easily and cause irreparable damage to the unit. Another rather flimsy characteristic is the design of the rubber hinges holding the speakers in place. The rubber is loose and I expect it to get worse over time. For the unit that costs so much, the craftsmanship has degraded compared to the unit that is 10 or more years old. Great product, no issues. Opticsplanet sold it without saying it wasn’t in stock. Took longer than expected to receive.

Ordered the FoxPro Shockwave call. The features that the unit has works as advertised. Shipping from Optics planet was quick, and package was well packaged. I would recommend this call to my friends and family.

Excellent technology. Have also purchased the Fox Jack decoy. Works perfectly. Having a remote to use with the unit greatly increases the usefulness of this device. Ability to direct sound with swiveling speakers a real plus.Ready to take it to the field.

This call is great!! It’s not as big as the picture portrays it. The sounds are all actual live animal recordings and they sound great. I have other electronic calls but this call beats them all ..... not even close. The remote is very easy to read weather it’s daylight or dark. I can’t say enough about this call as to how good it is!!!!

You can't go wrong with foxpro. You can't go wrong with opticsplanet. Fox pro speaks for itself. The sound is the most realistic sounds that iv ever heard from an e-caller. Only took me about an hr to become accustomed to the remote and figure out how to use the call. Opticsplanet was awsome to deal with and will be making more purchases from them.

Does everything necessary. Controls are easy to use on the remote. Only thing I might suggest is the screen on the caller be a little bigger. But since you don't use it that often it will do. Don't know why I waited so long to purchase.

After buying a few different FoxPro callers I decided to upgrade to the shockwave and couldn't be happier. The sound is very realistic, sounds similar to hand calls while in use. Plenty of volume bounced off mountains 1/2 mile from where the stand was.
