This is a great starter press. It is fairly straight forward in design and functions smoothly. It will accept any standard threaded die sizes so you don't have to stick with a certain brand name. A great option for someone who is just getting started with hand-loading and might be on a budget. The Press, Hand Primer, and Powder Funnel kit are exceptional and well make up the core value of this essentials kit. The Powder Measurer/Dispenser leaves a bit to be desired as it hasn't thrown a consistent charge to date, and leaks tiny powder grains from around the front of the drum as you move the charge handled up and down requiring additional cleanup to keep the work area tidy, and making the drum sticky with gummed up powder. I'd definitely weigh each charge to ensure proper grains for each shell as well for safety due to the measurer's inconsistency. The Powder Trickler comes in handy to make micro adjustments when topping off a charge that is too low, and the caliper measurers are another handy addition for finished bullet seating height. The included scale isn't top of the line, but it could also be worse. The weight might drift a 0.02 once in a while so keep an eye on it and reset if needed to ensure accuracy. Overall, I would recommend this essentials kit, as the pros outweigh the cons in my opinion.
