Better than expected
I have more than 35 years of reloading experience and have reloaded many thousands of rounds. Case prep is important and I can not stand to see dull, dirty brass. When my Lyman Turbo 1200 failed, I started looking for a reasonably priced replacement. Came accross the Frankford Arsnel (FA) tumbler an...

Fine When it Works
The tumbler worked fine for the first month, but then it started sounding a little rough and vibrated slower and slower until it finally stopped. I tried to spray white grease toward the motor bearings, but initially it had no effect. When I abandoned it on the garage floor, I must have left the s...

Economical, Reliable, the Right Choice
This “shaker” is a standby. It’s be around since the beginning of dust bunnies, or at least the last 30 years. More? It works. It’s easy to maintain. A one step operation, it employs Popeye’s used corn cob pipe media and doesn’t cost a lot of the green stuff (no spinach necessary). The media is reusable. Earth friendly. Reloading friendly. No pampering called for.

Hohum tumbler
Compared to my old VibraShine that finally gave out after 25 years this tumbler just doesn’t have much action. The brass shells just don’t tumble very fast at all and with the straight walls, use of the lid is a must unless you don’t mind cleaning up the media all around it.
Pros:
- Low cost
Cons:
- Very little tumbling action
Would recommend: No

Surprisingly quiet
Super easy to use. Just toss your brass in with your media and some polish and let it do its thing. I wish I would have bought it with the media separator. Buy them together and save yourself from the headache and mess.
Pros:
- Ease Of Use
Cons:
- Messy
Best Used for:
- Case prep/reloading.

Great starter package, has everything you need to clean your brass
Was really easy and quick to set up, I was tumbling my 1st batch of cases withing minutes. The tumbler isn't huge so if you are looking for one that will do 500+ rounds this isn't for you. Cleans brass better then orig factory ammo from anywhere between 1 hr and 4 hrs depending on how much brass you put in. Includes plenty of media, polish and a media separator. I guess the media separator could be a little better but really no complaints especially for the amount of this item. Just one thing of note, crank down the center threaded rod or it will unscrew when trying to remove the cover.
Pros:
- Quality
- cost
- Eas of use.
Cons:
- none yet
Best Used for:
- Reloading

Frankford Arsenal Quick N Ez Reloading Case Tumblers
Order this Frankford Arsenal Quick N Ez Reloading Case Tumblers. Work well for me so far but wish the cover was built with more quality material like metal instead of plastic. In the long run it may crack in the future if over tight.

A perfect pair
Tumbler does a great job cleaning brass. It's pretty quiet compared to other ones I've used. The media separator that comes with is great too. It has been indispensable in my reloading process. I'm still using the corn cob media it came with and getting great results. There's also a little bit of brass polish that comes with it. I never had any experience with this brand but I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and utility.
Pros:
- Price
Cons:
- Some assembly required
Best Used for:
- Reloading

Frankford Arsenal Quick N Ez Reloading Case Tumbler Kit.
Ordered this item as I get back into the world of metallic cartridge reloading. Ordering this package gets you everything you need to get your empty cases clean at a very good price. After receiving this item, and 10 minutes of assembly, I put 100 30-06 empties in and powered up. There is a little noise using this vibrator.
But it is steady and doesn't walk off the bench. Some of the noise comes from the fact that the bowl is hard plastic, and some from the cases hitting the cover bolt in the bowl. Sliding a simple plastic drinking straw over the bolt helped this situation. I ran the unit for two hours with just the media, no polish added. My cases came up very clean.

Pros:
- All inclusive package. Nothing else needed to get you empties clean. Solid unit.
- great price and high quality.
Cons:
- a little noise, but not bad.
- Some assembly required.
Best Used for:
- someone looking for quality without breaking the bank.

Brass Cleaning On a Budget
Used to tumble some .223/556 cases before reloading. Using some walnut shell media from Harbor Freight and a bit of NuFinish car polish, the shells came out clean and polished. Sure you can pay more for a tumbler, but why? Paired it up with the Frankfor Arsenal strainer to make shell, and media, recovery easy.

Great tumbler
I have 20+ years in the manufacturing industry and metal polishing.
This vibratory tumbler has a nice rotation and spinning action that produce a nice high bright finish using treated corncob media.
I would recommend covering the 1/4-20 stud for the lid with some heat shrink tubing to protect case necks from dings though.
