Ben's Review of Franklin Armory BFSIII 22-C1 Trigger

Thought this review might be helpful to people thinking about this product and confused by mixed reviews. After trigger arrived I installed it to Franklins directions, and some other you tube videos that gave me better angles on the install. Well the main trigger spring and plunger were all jacked up and were binding up when the trigger was depressed. Bummer. Definitely not going to function. So I called up Franklin and explained situation. Was told my ruger polymer trigger housing was probably out of spec, and my options were get a new one, or wait till Franklins own trigger housing hit the market....seriously? That was there solution. This didn’t make much sense to me, and without being an engineer or machinist I knew this was probably a common answer they were giving at the time as this relatively new product was rolled out and all the bugs were being worked out. Fast forward past a few more calls to Franklin, who I must say had great customer service the entire time, but was hesitant to really commit to helping me. Finally, they offered for me to send in the trigger and all parts and they would see what they could do. Fair enough. A couple months went by and I was starting to just sort of be over the whole situation, fully ready to accept the fact that I just spent $300 on a toy that just wasn’t going to amount to jack. Right as all hope was leaving the trigger showed back up in the mail, fully installed in my original trigger housing, dropped right in, and am pleased to say that after my first day shooting mag after mag without a hiccup I am fully satisfied. Franklin did a great job helping me in the end, and my only gripe was the hesitation to offer anything they could do right off the bat. Other than that, it’s a really fun trigger that works as advertised.
