  • needs adjustments

BFSIII is best/most fun toy available

by Vernw, from TX, United States Written on February 23, 2025
Don’t understand all the negative comments, I’m not a gunsmith and have not had any problems installing these systems and I’ve only got iuse of one hand. So far I’ve put them into two AR’s, one CZ Scorpion, a S&W MP22LR, Ruger Charger, and a standard 10/22 carbine. No problems with any of them but I did have to mess with the Scorpion to get what I considered a decent trigger pull. Highly recommend these triggers, in my opinion a much better choice than the Fostech versions. YMMV, of course.
Pros:
  • Fun Fun Fun!!! Just go slow installing and pay close attention
Cons:
  • Ammo costs
  • Ammo costs LOL
Best Used for:
  • Plinking and playing

by Ryan, from OR, United States Written on September 29, 2024
I’ve had the trigger for a long time. I always wait to review things. It works perfect and it makes the 10/22 so fast. I love it.

binary trigger

by andy, Verified Owner from IN, United States Written on August 25, 2024
Binary system is awesome only down fall is the two screws that screw on selector strip out. Would think as much money as they change for the product that the two screws would be made alot better than what they currently are.

"Simple" Install & Fun to Shoot

by DLeeO, from KS, United States Written on July 30, 2024
I used quotes for simple in my title, because I had no idea what I was doing. I've never replaced a trigger and went straight to YouTube to learn how to install this one. It was challenging just because of the need to hold things in place w one hand while doing/inserting with the other. I almost got frustrated, but it wasn't that bad. Fast forward to the range:
I LOVE shooting this trigger. I have a 5.56 can on the rifle I installed this trigger on, which helps with the weight, negating the recoil rise a bit. Still, I usually only do a double tap/4 shots at a time to keep my aim steady.
That said, a Mag dump with this thing is way too much fun. ALMOST a "giggle switch".
Pros:
  • Affordable
  • Binary safety indentifier
Cons:
  • Challenging install-Watch YouTube
Best Used for:
  • Fun and mag dumps
Would recommend: Yes

Lots of fun in your 10/22 Plinker!

by Tim in AZ, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on June 5, 2024
Installation was not too complicated. I followed the instructions to the letter and this Binary Trigger functions as advertised and is a lot of fun. I replaced my Ruger BX match trigger with this Binary Trigger and although I liked the 2-1/2# pull match trigger better for semi-auto shooting, the 4-1/2# pull of the Binary is acceptable for most shooting and I like having the Binary "Fun" mode to play with at the range. Overall, not a bad trigger and lots of fun.
Pros:
  • Fairly easy install
  • Lots of fun at the range
Cons:
  • Bit pricey but worth it
Best Used for:
  • plincking and having a good time with
Would recommend: Yes

update to 1st review

by Jaysin, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on February 24, 2024
Finally, I got it working after a week of measuring and modifications to both trigger and trigger housing. I have an "empire" stamped aluminum trigger housing, original and 20ish years old. About an 8th of an inch had to be shaved off of the trigger housing internally, between the safty shaft and trigger mount pin. Also, another 8th inch from the inside rear of the housing, where the hammer return springs counter sinks. It was interfering with the 2nd hammer dropping in function check 7. The trigger assembly, safety selector rod ,and disconnect had to be polished. All were bured and felt like sand in a wet knife. Finally, trigger return spring had to be adjusted, tediously. If it doesn't feel smooth, as soon as the trigger pin install is done, start over. Overall, this is a "labor of love" kinda thing. I am mechanically inclined, well equipped with the tools and experience to get myself into trouble. Hope this helps someone
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • tedious for older rifles
Best Used for:
  • testing patience
  • giggle switch

expensive 2nd semi-selector. Bianary acts as semi

by Jaysin, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on February 17, 2024
Recieven an opened $260 trigger kit a week late. Installed parts, easy to figure out. Binary does NOT work. It acts as if it's in semi( resets to seer upon trigger release). After searching for hours for the simple idiotic thing I've missed, I've come up with nothing. People have suggested I polish and change out springs to milspec versions, which I may eventually do if this isn't remedied. Long story short, buyer beware. Seems to be no quality control. A product of this price should come pre tested.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Expensive
  • poorly cast
  • No troubleshooting info
