Jaysin's Review of Franklin Armory BFSIII 22-C1 Trigger
Finally, I got it working after a week of measuring and modifications to both trigger and trigger housing. I have an "empire" stamped aluminum trigger housing, original and 20ish years old. About an 8th of an inch had to be shaved off of the trigger housing internally, between the safty shaft and trigger mount pin. Also, another 8th inch from the inside rear of the housing, where the hammer return springs counter sinks. It was interfering with the 2nd hammer dropping in function check 7. The trigger assembly, safety selector rod ,and disconnect had to be polished. All were bured and felt like sand in a wet knife. Finally, trigger return spring had to be adjusted, tediously. If it doesn't feel smooth, as soon as the trigger pin install is done, start over. Overall, this is a "labor of love" kinda thing. I am mechanically inclined, well equipped with the tools and experience to get myself into trouble. Hope this helps someone
