Get Intimate with your gun!!
I’ve been using this stuff for over a decade and it’s never failed me.
First, tear down your AR, Pistol, Shotgun. Arrange all of the parts so that you can easily apply Frog Lube.
Next, wipe down all parts, and apply Frog lube by hand or acid brush. Cover the entire BCG, Barrel or outside of the metal component.
You don’t need a lot of Frog Lube, just a thin coating, enough that you can see a gleem of lube.
Next, apply heat, hair dryer or heat gun. Melt the lube into the pores of the metal parts, then let air dry.
Last, you’ll come back to parts with a coating of Frog lube on them. Wipe off with micro fiber towel
Put gun back to proper working order
That’s how I’ve done it and it’s always worked for me.

Best I’ve Ever Used
I know everyone’s favorite is “the best” so I understand skepticism over a stranger’s claim. What I can tell you about Frog Lube is that in 5 years of slowly integrating it into my cleaning and lubricating routine, starting with 1 pistol, it now protects all of them (dozens). I read about it, followed extensive reviews by forum members vs 40 or so other products, and it was 1 of 2 that greatly exceeded the performance of all others in wet and saltwater conditions as well as lubricity testing. My first hand usage results in firearms that are easy to clean, run without failure, shed carbon fouling with a dry patch, and require no reapplication through multiple range sessions. Applies easily, smells good, safe, cuts cleaning time and effort; what’s not to like. The only down side is wondering what to do with all of your Hoppes, Bore Butter, Number 13, RemOil, Sweets, Eliminator, Wipe Out, Tetra, and other bottles once you try Frog Lube.
Pros:
- Works on everything
- smells like mint
- feels dry after application then sweats out during use
- reduces cleaning effort
- prevents corrosion
Cons:
- none so far
Best Used for:
- pistols
- Rifles
- muzzleloaders
- Revolvers
- ARs
- wood working tools
- around the garage
