A sturdy and well optioned rifle case.

I ordered the Galati Gear 42” rifle case for my premium component 16” bbl M5e build that is equipped with things that each add to it’s size, like a scope, bipod, B5 stock, Griffin TA, and a pair of offset MBUS. It’s not the slimmest or shortest rig on the rack, and far from the least costly. Because it’s still essentially a tactical length, I didn’t want a gigantic heavy, expensive hard case. While I was able to jam my new pride and joy into a Blackhawk 36” carbine case borrowed from an M4, it would have eventually killed that case from forcing the zipper, and just being too tight of a fit. Even with the B5 fully closed there was not an inch of free space at the muzzle end in a 36” case. I could not find a decent looking 38” case either.

Lastly I wanted more impact protection than you get from most soft cases.
The sale price was right for the Galati Gear 42” case so I applied every discount possible and grabbed this black 42” Galati for less than $60. I love this case!
