I purchased the Galco Battle Sling for my M1 Garand and what a major upgrade to the "old girl". I deer hunt with my M1 Garand out of a tree stand. The Galco Battle Sling makes the climb up the ladder easy and safe. In addition, the Galco Battle Sling is VERY comfortable with the heavy M1 Garand. The Galco Battle Sling provides great weapon positioning for rapid target acquisition during the walk into the woods to the tree stand. GREAT BUY!!!
