This holster is made of quality leather with strong stitching. It is molded to fit the spicific make if revolver. I purchased the holster for my Taurus .44 mag tracker with 4" barrel and the fit was perfact. The option for wearing it strong side or crossdraw is a plus.

Galco Taurus Judge holster
It didn't fit the gun at all. It was so tight that you couldn't even force the gun into the holster far enough to snap the strap. Should have used a bit more leather
Superb Galco Quality
Whenever I add another classic revolver to my collection, I try first to find a fine leather Galco holster to go with it. I absolutely love the feel, fit, and smell of the specially tanned supple leather, especially in their unique tan color. This new holster for my like new 1969 to 1972 S&W Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I added some Altamont Bonded Ivory Battaleur Stocks for a spectacular finish. I prefer to buy my Galco holsters from Optics Planet due to their excellent service and special pricing deals. very tight fit but easy to remedy
I purchased this holster for a Ruger GP 100 with 6 inch barrel. The holster is obviously well made with high quality leather, impeccable stitching, and it almost seems to be a work of art. The only issue was the tank of a pistol fit so tight, it was a struggle to holster and un-holster the pistol. A slight adjustment on the tension screw and then wrapping the pistol in wax paper and inserting it into the holster multiple times did the trick. Now the pistol draws and holsters as smooth a a baby's behind. I highly recommend this product.

Galco DAO holster
As a left handed person I have very few choices when it comes to great looking holsters. My new Galco DAO was the perfect choice for my Ruger Alaskan 44 magnum. The fit was perfect and looks like a million bucks on my hip. The leather is amazing and I highly recommend you get one for your sidearm.

Leather holster for S W 686
I wanted a holster for right hip or cross body, this one works in either position. Good quality product and looks good too. Will be working on my draw and shoot exercise at the range. Will be taking this along when hunting to have it ready as a backup.

Won’t Fit Specified Model
Contrary to the Galco website, which states this is the right product for 4” .357 mag Dan Wesson revolvers, it does not fit. This product may fit the older barrel profile Dan Wesson revolvers, but the 2016 and newer production revolvers have a different profile.
For comparison, I own this same style Galco holster for my 4” Ruger Redhawk in .44 mag and it fits perfectly, and I’d recommend it.

Great Holster
Another great holster from Galco, quality leather, strong stitching and great fit on multiple guns. Great choice for crossdraw and strong side carry. Typical break in by wrapping a plastic bag around the gun and leaving it inserted in the holster overnight and locktite on all retention screws. Unfortunately the retention strap looks stupid flopping around and got in my way when reholstering. Easy to fix, snip, cut and replace with a new one using a Chicago screw, now it neatly folds out of the way, much safer.

Beautiful craftsmanship
I bought this holster for my grandfathers old Ruger security six so I can carry it and pass it down to my kids with a holster. The craftsmanship is beautiful and the leather seems to be of high quality, I mean it does smell very good lol. I can tell this holster will last for generations!
