Politically correct - Galco Dao Strongside/Crossdraw Belt Holster

Luckily Galco has stepped up and added the S&W Governor fitment to their DAO holster lineup. As you may have noticed, unlike the Judge, there are very few offerings for fitted holsters, for this firearm. But that's just fine, because Galco hit it out of the park with this one. Already a Galco fan, I was happy to see the same high quality vegetable tanned, saddle leather they're know for. A well fitted, full coverage, positive front sight channel, reinforced stiching, adjustable tension screw, heavy retention strap with an oversized poly tab between it and their standard high quality brass snaps, to aid in fasten/un-fastening it while wearing gloves. This may be the only feature I'd possibly change. Im still undecided as it doed protrude a bit and I don't have a problem with the countless holsters I use, that don't have the feature. ( maybe I'll just remove it) Other than that, this holster will fit up to a heavy 1 3/4" gun belt in either strong side or cross draw fashion.

True to its name, the Dual Action Outdoorsman model holster is equally suited roughing it in the field or for defensive carry, or even in the night stand. In my opinion its the cleanest...best protecting..fitted...and versatile holster for the Governor. With proper break-in, conditioning, maybe even a touch of Galco Draw-EZ (which I recommend use of on all leather holsters to protect firearms finish, and aid in a fast, fluid draw) you'll have the most premium protection and carry option of the two or three fitted and few other universal holsters available.

It's positively the only offering I'd recommend to my friends and family!
