Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Accessory
This is an ideal carrier for the additional magazines everyone should carry. Well made and can be adjusted for the exact magazine retention that you want. This is my 3rd Galco magazine carrier. If you like leather carriers, this one is for you. Pros: Great craftmanship and fit Cons: none

I will be using this pouch as a second one. As I own one just like it. They are excellent and sturdy, and I can go target practice with 4 9mm magazines now for my S&W 6906

galco double mag

I prefer this high quality leather over the kydex. Wearing mags daily for work I have found the kydex will crack but leather breaks in and is more comfortable. Works well with the sb5 belt and looks good

I feel galco makes the best leather and a somewhat reasonable price compared to other leather makers. I have several leather galco products and they have served very good or several years of use,i would highly recommend their products

Galco Double Magazine Pouch

5 stars to the good folks at Optics Planet. 1 star to this magazine pouch. I bought this for a HK P30 with metal magazines. The left compartment had glue residue in it from the manufacturing process which glued the left magazine into it. I had to use 2 hands to pull that magazine out no matter how loose I made the tension screw. I tried it several times over several days but the left side still stuck like glue. The right side worked fine. The great people at Optics Planet took it back and I bought a Blackhawk leather magazine pouch which works perfectly for much less money. Maybe this was a manufacturing fluke, glade I was dealing with Optics Planet who took care of me.

COMFY MAG CARRIER

I AM GONNA PREFACE THIS BY SAYING THE ONLY NEGATIVE. Use clear fingernail polish (as per GALCO) to keep screws from coming out accidentally as mine did but the carrier remained on my belt securely. The carrier is very comfortable and wearing it all day you'll never notice as I AM A FEW POUNDS OVER WEIGHT.

  • Comfortable and strong snaps
Cons:
  • The screw back on both my holster and mag pounce carrier have come out
Best Used for:
  • EVERY DAY CARRY AND TACTICAL USES

Real Good Gear

Works great good retention Fits my needs very well. I use it for a double stack mag for concealed carry and it works very well for me. I would recommend it highly. It fits on my belt well, I don't even know that it's there.

Galco makes the best holsters

I bought the Galco carrier to go along with my Fletch Holster for my Colt 1911 Series 70 Pistol. It secures the magazines but makes them easily accessible for reloads. It conforms to the side of your body. You never really even know your carrying them. The carrier rides hi on your waist so when I am wearing my concealment shirt you never even know I have it. Galco makes the best holsters hands down, the quality, fit and finish are the best industry wide.
