Elastic wasteband?
I would recommend it if you're just a walker. I like to run and having a tight fit is ideal. Can't get a tight fit with an elastic wasteband. As far as the gun goes my H&K P2000SK fits. I can't see anything bigger fitting. I've seen other reviews about the gun getting snagged when trying to "eject" it. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Depends on how you pull on the zipper. Not a big deal for me. Would give it 5 stars but I'm really not a fan of the wasteband

Super Comfortable
I thought this may be gimmicky but once I put it into use I’ve changed my tune. This bag is unbelievably simple yet incredibly effective. It is inconspicuous and doesn’t look tactical at all. Here in Florida I blend in with the tourists. The waistband has some elasticity which makes it super comfortable compared to rigid nylon belts like other bags. I’m a chunky guy and this fits nicely with no binding or pinching.
