Great hunting rig - Galco Great Alaskan Shoulder System Holster

Used this setup during deer season utilizing a Kimber Stainless Target in 10mm. Very comfortable
and obviously a quality product. Very convenient in a ladder stand where the gun is basically in your
lap and readily accessible as opposed to drawing from the hip in a confined area with layers of hunting clothes on. Not 5 star for two reasons: 1. Holster did not readily accept the Kimber because of the target sights. Pistol had to be forcibly shoved into holster and left there for days for holster to stretch
around target sight. Other 1911's w/o adjustable sights fit fine but the target sight, being larger,
prevented the ability to snap the holster strap unless pistol was pushed hard into holster. This was in Condition 1. 2. Found the thumb safety tripped off occasionally while holstering due to tightness of rig. Used a good leather conditioner on rig as I sweated a lot walking to stand and the leather got wet. Didn't get stiff or crack. Would buy again.
