Galco w-dr146 holster - Galco Model 1880s Strongside Leather Holster

Purchased for use in cowboy action shooting and seems to work well for a newcomer to the sport. The holster is molded to nicely fit the firearm specified, yet provides secure carry and easy access. If quick access to firearm is required, strong side holster will need to be tied down so holster does not ride up when firearm is drawn. I punched the holster loop at the inside as well as the belt with a leather punch and tied strong side and cross-draw holsters to the belt with a leather boot lace. Strong side holster will need to be tied at the bottom of the holster to prevent ride up when drawing pistol during competition. Cross-draw holster stays put. Good quality and value.
