Most Helpful Positive Review Remember to Break in
I have a 1911 Sig variation which made it slightly different than the Colt and Colt-like clones on the market. Because of this, finding a non-custom holster for every day carry started to become an issue. Finally, I was recommended this model Galco holster due to the slight difference in design. *First Impression (Snug!) It was like getting a new baseball glove. I assumed gun leather was like that (and not just because of my 1911 dimensional variations) and took the steps to break it in correctly. Fits and wares well. Beautiful holster. Had to put a couple of plastic bags over the gun to enlarge the holster fora good fit. As per directions.

Poor paddle design

Ordered PLE226 (Glock 19, right-hand, tan) from OpticsPlanet. For me, the paddle is too small and makes the gun ride too high. As a result, the grip sticks out to far and flops around. Other Glock 19 holsters I have use a larger paddle and let the gun sit lower. $90 bucks wasted.

Nice Paddle holster

This holster is very well made. I suggest purchasing the Gallo holster breakin oil to help conform your holster to your weapon. Once fitted to your weapon, it’s secure and ready for you. You won’t be disappointed with your purchase.

Perfect for use

Very tight out of the package. Easy fix. Oil and wrap pistol in saran wrap, then soak holster in warm water. Then slide your pistol into the holster. Let holster dry. Now you will have a perfect fit. I have been doing this method for over 40 years. Holster is very well made.

leather paddle holster sig p220r

Absolutely love this holster. Fits as it should and only took 2 days for the break in. Other leathers have taken up to 7 days. Definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a nice leather holster at a good price!

Good Solid Holster

Bought this for a Sig P229. Holster stays tight against your belt and the thumb strap adds an extra measure of security. Easy to take on and off and is more convenient than having to thread through your belt every time.

I have had a few months to use this holster and I like the thing. IT has a great fit for my S&W 360pd even though it wasn't listed as one of the guns for the holster. I give it 5 stars because it serves the purpose that I bought it for and serves it well.

Great Holster

Got my holster the other day and have been breaking it in. Its a little snug at first but that was to be expected with a good leather holster. the quick thumb break and the snug fit of the paddle gives it a solid feel of its not gonna fall off. I recommend this holster to anyone just as it was recommended to me.
