I placed the order for a holster and this belt on July 26, 2023. I received the holster on August 27, 2023, and the SB3 Belt on September 29, 2023. I mention this only because it took awhile for Optics Planet to receive these two items from the manufacturer (I guess). This isn't a knock against Optics Planet, they kept me informed as to when my purchased items might ship, and that's great.

Still, 1 month for the holster, and 2 months for the belt seem like a long time to me. Maybe in today's market since Covid, this is the nature of how things go. If whatever item you're going to purchase, be aware, if it's not in stock, it might take some time to reach you.

The belt fits just as all Galco belts have fit me, great ! It also looks very good. I've purchased several different Galco belts over the years, and each one has been tough, and rigid enough to use as a gun belt if I choose to. This "Dress" belt doesn't seem as rigid as the SB2 belts I own, but I most likely wouldn't use it as a holster belt. So, I can't really say how well it would work as a holster belt. It just seems a tad ... softer. Still, very pleased with my purchase, and as just a belt I can say it looks great and works well.

Belts that are heavy enough to be considered “Gun Belts” aren’t always comfortable & considered good looking enough to serve as a “Dress” belt. This particular SB3 in Havana color is really sharp looking, fits great, seems heavy enough if I want to carry. I’ve only used a couple of Manufacturers in purchasing my belts, and Galco’s belts work. They aren’t cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I own tons of Galco leather products, mostly in black, and this is the only one I've had this issue with. The shiny finish is disappearing in two areas. The underneath area is a matte black, and the edges where it is peeling are clearly visible. Very similar to how a car looks when its clear coat paint peels off. VERY disappointed. I alerted Galco and sent pictures and did not even receive an apology. They offered to re-finish it and pay for postage, but would not give an ETA when requested. Again, this happened in less than 1 month of normal use. Either I am very unlucky, or there is a bad batch out there of these. Purchased 7-2023.

Great belt for when you’ve got to dress up a little. It is very stiff without being too thick and isn’t overly noticeable. Unlike most dress gun belts, it doesn’t scream “I’m armed either.” Overall, solid purchase.

This is maybe the best looking tan dress belt on the market. The leather is top quality, stitching is even and the brass buckle is indented at the back to make for a smooth fit with any pants. Given the firmness and thickness of the leather, you could even hang a holster on it and be comfortable. The belt will shape to fit your waist. The only caution is to follow the sizing guidelines. Get at least one size larger than your waist size regardless. For example, if you wear a 38 pants then order a 40 belt; if you plan on threading the belt through a holster or wearing an IWB holster, go up 2 sizes to 42. Honest!

Nice belt for all occasions, carry or otherwise. Dressy but too much so. Plenty stiff but still comfortable. Beware the Tan color does come with a silver finished buckle as was pictured, brass only. Black and brown have silver plated brass.

My first but I hear they hold up well.

At first glance you would picture these belts as quality dress belts for any occasion. They are strong and well made and will do the job for anyone who is looking for a superior belt for out of the pants holster belt.

I wear this belt with dress slacks as a police administrator. I wear a holster and badge on the belt daily. After purchasing a number of what appeared to be quality belts in department stores and having them all fail, this belt been excellent. I have only had the belt a short time, but unlike all the others, it appears that it's going to hold up nicely!

I usually will write strong reviews but I feel this one was a real miss for me. The leather is soft and does not hold up to the weight of a loaded sidearm (especially when carried OWB). The softness of the leather and inability to hold up to the weight causes the grip of the sidearm to flare out and print, rendering this usually for concealed carry.

If used IWB, then it's ok but then again so is any belt.

I have other belts (including the Ares which is very stiff and perfect) but this is no more than a regular dress belt.
