Tried the finger stretch recommmended by Galco and the application of Galco Draw EZ. ALso adjusted retention screws. Anyway you look at if you pull hard enough you can point your holstered weapon in self defence. I have a Model 60 and 620 S&W. Both have the same problem. Seemed that Galco worried a little too much about accidental weapon remomal. The bottom line is that the holster is not a good fit. From my observation the trigger guard pushes so tight into the rubber adjuster that no amount of streatching will suffice. The gun also has a straight vertical profile. The pictures would indicate a 15 to 20% forward profile that would also aid in draw speed. I also have the ankle holster with same permanent carry results. My Galco combat master is perfect. Ease and speed of draw and supportive. This is an outside belt mount holster but excellent self defense holster. No more difficult to put on than trying to get that padde over your belt and into proper cayy position.
Pros: Galco Quality Leather and Good Looks
Cons: Unreliable for rapid weapon deployment
