Quality material and beautiful workmanship are built into this carrier. Either one of my S&W 586 or Colt Python revolver speedloaders fit perfectly in this case which also complements great with my Galco Phoenix holster.

This carrier is basically worthless as soon as you unsnap to take out the speedloader there is no rigidity or retention to hold it in. The sides of the holder are too low and allow the speedloader to just fall out. Reloading under stress or on the move is a non option.

Very happy! Excellent way for a revolver carrier to compensate for being round handicapped. Against 15 round semi-
automatic carriers. When seconds count the speed loader will aid in reducing "dramatically" the extra time it takes to individually reload six more rounds.
Additionally, I enjoy taking my Revolver on hiking and hunting trips. I can think of many reasons to have extra rounds with me, however, the biggest reason that comes to mind is being able to discharge a predetermined signal should I get lost in the dark. Lastly having the ammo so close on my belt makes access and the ease of carrying a ridiculously easy!
Best Used for:
- Concealment, hunting, and hikeing

It is typical Galco high quality leather, and it is very compact. There are two defects: it is too small, and it can drop the speed loader when opened. Mine was advertised to fit a speed loader for the S&W 586. I use an HK speed loader with a raised twist. I really had to force the speed loader to make it fit with .38 Spec, LRN. .357 mag would be out of the question. The second defect is serious. When it is unsnapped, it will flop open and down, allowing the speed loader to drop out if you're not ready to catch it. I'll use it for target shooting, but it isn't something I want to bet my life on.
Cons:
- Dangerous in high stress situations
- Too small for recommended firearm

Galco makes Great Speed Loader carriers, along with all their products that I've used.
The Speed Loader Carrier is no exception.
It's well Made, Fits my speed loader for my Smith well, conceals nicely, and I
can attach and remove it without taking off my belt.

Simple carrier that allows you to carry a speed loader for a revolver on your belt. It fits a 5 Star speed loader with .357 loads with room to spare. Typical Galco quality makes for a good looking unit.

This product is OK but somewhat tight on seven shot speed loader. I already had one and this one is not exactly the same size as the first one. Matches the Galco holster in color OK. Also not exactly the same color as the first one but it is very close.

Great Speedloader carrier. I bought two of these to carry the speed loaders along with my S&W 642. They have the same great looks and quality as all my other Galco products. I also own several other Galco products.

These carriers look so good and match my Galco holster, but in competition, they are very clumsy. Because they lack dedicated belt loops, unsnapping the holder can cause the speedloader to fall out. The flap covering the speedloader is actually the part that loops around the belt. Unsnap it and the weight of the fully loaded speedloader will cause the container to cantilever forward, dropping the load. This can cause you to be disqualified for faulty gear in an IDPA competition, or, God forbid, shot in a firefight trying to find the speedloader that fell on the ground.

I really like the idea of having speed loader holders to match my holster. Same manufacturer, same color. First hint of trouble: the same flap that secures the speedloader also secures the carrier to the belt. Second problem: the carrier is very tight. I can't get the speedloader with bullets into the carrier. I've been around leather long enough to know that soaking the carrier in water and then forcing the speedloader into the carrier will stretch the leather to accommodate the speedloader. This works, but the thing still flops around like a dead fish when you remove the speedloader. You would think, for the price, the designers would put a little more effort into the product.
