Most Helpful Positive Review A great holster
I've been looking for a nice-looking, useful, and comfortable holster for my S&W 686. This holster fits the revolver great. It comes with a retention strap but the holster is just snug enough on the pistol that I don't have to use it. I've never had a crossdraw holster before but it felt natural from the moment I put it on. Besides that, it looks great like Wild Bill Hickok. I have several Galco holsters already and have always been satisified with their products.

For the price, this is a great holster. It was tight at first, but I wrapped my revolver in plastic wrap and left it in the holster for a couple of days. It fits great now. Thumb strap retention. Wear it strongside or crossdraw; left or right side.

Just received, fits very well and looks great. Now I just have to avoid toppling over sideways lol. A nice holster for actually wearing or transporting. Great price too. The hybrid construction is cool.

This holster is great. Excellent construction, it looks fantastic and holds my Colt Python close to the hip. This is a solid, sharp looking holster from Galco that won't break the bank. I love the sale price from OpticsPlanet too! I highly recommend the Switchback holster.

I wanted the flexibility of a nylon holster and the durable good look of a leather holster. I got the best of both worlds in this one. My only gripe would be that it’s a stiff fit, but perhaps I simply need to work that leather for a bit. It sits on the hip nicely and is very secure.

Easily one of the best made holsters I have owned

This holster fits mt Colt Trooper Mark III perfectly, the strap with the cut out to secure the hammer and firearm in the holster is a great feature. The snap closes tightly but does not have to be squeezed to death to work.The interior of the holster is firearm friendly synthetic so no moisture issues, The best part is the cross draw position is so comfortable for carry and riding in the buggy, car, motorcycle, etc. Get this holster if you are like me and need secure, well designed holster for your Colt or Ruger GP 100.
