Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Holster
I really like the Galco Yaqui holster because it is a very minimalist holster. No thumb break saftey or buttons to push. The tension screws allow the user to adjust the firmness the holster has on the gun to allow a smooth draw without pulling your pants up. The bonus of having two tension screws allows an even finer adjustment. Not having a bottom to the holster lets me carry different barrel length guns. Excellent leather and design. Pros: Small, Light Holster with Tension Screws Cons: None

Excellent EDC

Galco has some of the best holsters out there. This Yaqui paddle holster fits my Glock 26 Gen 4 like a custom fit glove. It also rides high, great for shorter jackets, etc. that come closer to the waistline. The holster features adjustable tensioning. If you're tired of holsters that you have to run a belt through then I suggest these type holsters.
Cheers.......!!

Yaqui Slides.

by Ed, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on February 14, 2016
This is my 3rd purchase of a yaqui slide holster. One for my sub compacts, one for my compacts and full sizes and one for my compacts and full sizes with large trigger guards. They are all paddles. I like the minimalist size. They are easy on and off and very comfortable to wear with any of my pistols. The so called problem with the front sight getting caught on the lower lip while drawing has not been an issue for me.I am not saying it has not been an issue for other people, only me.Two of my slides are Galcos and one is a Desantis. The Quality of the materials and the construction are both excellent on all of them. The paddle will hold the firearm very close to you body but you will have to wear a proper gun belt. With the proper gun belt the retention of the holster on your body is very good. The only modification I made on each of them was on the Paddles. I found that the plastic part of the paddle that rests on your skin was a little irritating sometimes. I contact cemented a 3mm thick piece of good quality leather to the paddle, smooth side to the skin.A real easy job if you take your time and trim it flush to the edge of the paddle. This made the holster perfect for me.

Galco Yaqui Holster

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from NJ, United States Written on November 13, 2010
It is very well made, adjustable retention screws, quick draw and easy to put on and off. It is generally snug on my jeans, just need to get it in the right spot, I feel the lip to hold it should be on the belt side, not the pants side(so the paddle can go inside not under my belt.
Pros: well made, adjustable retention screws, quick draw and easy to put on and off.
Cons: none

Yaqui paddle Holster YP202

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from CT, United States Written on June 18, 2010
I like being able to switch carry weapons without having to change holsters all the time. Also if you don't have a pistol in the holster it looks like a pager or cell phone holster to a non gun person.
Pros: Excellent craftsmanship and flawless workmanship.
Cons: If any at all, you have to be a bit careful of the unprotected slide portion of your handgun.

Excelent Minimalist Holster

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on April 27, 2009
This is a holster that does not add size to your concealed weapon. It's minimalist design is so small that it feels like your weapon is right next to your body.
Pros: Very small
Cons: Very small hold on gun barrel
