Nice slide! - Galco Yaqui Slide Belt Leather Holster

The Galco Yaqui Slide Belt Holster is just as I expected. It is quick and easy to put on a belt, is easily adjustable to hold the pistol with whatever tension you desire, and provides for a smooth draw and easy re-holstering. It holds the pistol a bit away from my body, which makes the pistol very easy to grasp and draw, but also makes it not particularly concealable, so it is better suited for open carry.

One word of caution: this holster places the exposed muzzle right at the position where my right hand is when my arms are at my sides. It is very easy to inadvertently put my fingers directly in front of the muzzle, which is never a good idea! This is just a natural property of this type of holster design, and not a defect. But it is something to be aware of, and it may take a bit of practice and focus at first to remember not to accidentally get your fingers in front of the muzzle.
